NEET - All you should know
What is NEET ?
National Eligibility Entrance test (NEET) which was known as All India Pre-Medical Test (AIMPT) is an entrance exam in India for students who wish to join courses like MBBS and BDS program( for undergraduates). NEET is conducted by National Test Agency (NTA). It is conducted once in every year usually in the month of May. In India students who wish to enroll in medical or dental college are required to clear the NEET examination.

Educational qualifications for NEET

Candidate should have studied physics, chemistry and biology in the class 12th. The candidates are requested to show their passing certificate at the counseling.

Clearing physics, chemistry and biology in class 12th is mandatory to appear for NEET.

Mark obtained in Mathematics is not considered.
NEET exam pattern
NEET exam is conducted in 11 languages (English, Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, odia, Urdu, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada and Assamese)

The exam duration is 3 hours (180 minutes)

The question paper will contain 180 objective based questions (MCQ).

The question paper is divided into three section i.e. Physics, chemistry and Biology (Botany and zoology).

Each correct answer will carry +4
-
NEET evaluation includes negative marking.

For every wrong answer -1 will be deducted.
-
Students have the possibility to score between -180 and 720.

Keep the list of documents ready for upload.
Fill the Online Application Form and note down the Application Number.
Step 2
Upload required documents
The Scanned image of the Passport size Photograph of the candidate should be in JPG/JPEG format and
Image size should be between 10Kb to 200Kb.
The Scanned image of Signature of the candidate should be in JPG/JPEG format and Image size should be between 4Kb to 30Kb

The Scanned image of Left Hand Thumb impression of the candidate should be in JPG format and Image size should be between 10Kb to 50Kb
The Scanned image of Class 10th Certificate of the candidate should be in JPG format and Image size should be between 100Kb to 300Kb
The Scanned image of Post Card size Photograph of the candidate should be in JPG format and Image size should be between 50Kb to 300Kb
Step 3
Pay the required fee. You can make payment using any of the following modes
By Credit Card/Debit Card.
Net Banking
UPI
PAYTM
Very important : Print the confirmation page after the remittance of fee.

Common service centers are set up by the NTA to help the students who live especially in the rural area with no internet access to apply for the NEET examination. These common service centers help the student to apply for the NEET examination and charge a reasonable fee.
